OTHER USED

 Industrial grade is used in papermaking, soap making, textile, printing and dyeing, chemical fiber, pesticide, metallurgy, petrochemical fine chemical, electric power and other industries. Food grade is mainly used as acid-base blending agent and can also be used in cosmetics production.

As an important basic raw material, caustic soda has a wide range of downstream applications, mainly including alumina, printing and dyeing, chemical fiber, chemical industry and other fields. Alumina is the largest consumer of caustic soda, accounting for nearly 30% of the caustic soda consumption market; printing and dyeing, chemical fiber industry consumption accounts for 16.2%; chemical industry consumption accounts for 13.8%; water treatment consumption accounts for about 8.4%; pulp and papermaking consumption accounts for about 8%; the remaining consumption accounts for a small and scattered proportion, among which the emerging lithium battery industry is expected to increase caustic soda consumption in the future.

Safety and protection

It should be stored in a dry warehouse to avoid damage, contamination, moisture and contact with acid, and avoid impact during transportation. The product quality must not be affected during transportation and storage.
Caustic soda is extremely corrosive. If it comes into contact with the skin, rinse it immediately with clean water. If it splashes into the eyes, rinse it immediately with clean water or saline for 15 minutes. In serious cases, go to the hospital for treatment.
